About Me

Neil Kelty is the Chief of Staff of the Indiana University Student Association. In this position, Neil oversees the more than 70 member IUSA executive administration by providing direction and support to executive appointees.

Entering his junior year at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, as a member of the Business Honors Program, Neil is majoring in Economic Consulting and Public Policy analysis with a minor in Health Systems Administration.

This past year, Neil served as a Resident Assistant at McNutt Residence Center. While at McNutt, Neil managed a co-ed, majority-freshman floor of 56 residents by providing resourceful programming, essential counseling, and serving as a facilitator for community development.

After his freshman year of college, Neil secured an internship in Washington, D.C. at the Republican National Committee as a New Media Intern. At the RNC, Neil designed, developed, and managed Barack Obama Experiment.com, a health care website used by the RNC as the centerpiece of the health reform debate. Following the internship, the RNC hired Neil as independent new media consultant.

Neil has served as a youth-baseball umpire, owns and operates thrive4 4 Strategy Group, enjoys running, and is an avid fan of the now-discontinued NBC hit, The West Wing.
